1. Data Collection and Usage
A. User-Generated Content (AI Skyboxes)
Lana AI allows users to generate 360-degree environments ("Skyboxes") using artificial intelligence.
- Text Prompts: When you enter a prompt, it is sent to our AI processing partners to generate your image. We do not link these prompts to your real-world identity.
- Ownership: You acknowledge that all generated Skyboxes, including those enhanced via our "Upscale" functionality, remain the exclusive property of Byte Rebels Club, MB. We reserve the right to host, promote, or distribute these assets without further user consent.
- Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the prompts you provide. You must not use the service to generate illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
B. Camera and Video Functionality
Lana AI uses your device's camera to overlay AI Skyboxes as backgrounds.
- Local Processing: All video recording and processing are performed locally on your device.
- No Uploading: We do not upload, stream, or store your videos or raw camera feeds on our servers. Your creative work remains on your device unless you choose to share it via third-party apps.
C. In-App Purchases and Virtual Currency (Aura)
Lana AI uses a virtual currency called Aura (AUR) to facilitate in-app transactions.
- Billing: All purchases of Aura packs are handled exclusively by the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your credit card or billing information.
- Consumption: Aura is a "Consumable" digital good. It is deducted from your balance immediately upon the successful completion of an action (for example, generating a world, upscaling, or purchasing a bundle).
- No Cash Value: Aura has no real-world monetary value and is non-transferable and non-refundable, except as required by Apple's regional refund policies.
2. Information We Collect Automatically
To maintain app functionality and improve our services, we automatically collect the following data:
- App User ID: We use an anonymous unique identifier (managed via RevenueCat) to track your Aura balance, ensure your purchases are restored, and manage your account without requiring a formal sign-up.
- Usage Analytics: We track anonymized statistics regarding app usage (for example, which features are used most, session frequency, and skybox generation counts). This data helps us optimize Lana AI and understand user trends.
- Technical Logs: We collect basic device information (device model, OS version) and crash reports to troubleshoot bugs and maintain app stability.
3. Data Retention and App Deletion
- No Account Required: Lana AI does not require users to create a profile or sign up. All user data, including Aura balances and generated Skyboxes, are linked to an anonymous identifier stored on your device.
- Data Loss Warning: Because there is no central account, all user data, Aura balances, and generated content will be permanently lost if the app is deleted or if the device is factory reset. Byte Rebels Club, MB is unable to restore Aura balances or content once the app has been deleted.
- Security: We implement industry-standard technical measures to protect the communication between your device and our backend systems.
4. Third-Party Services
We partner with the following services to provide our app:
- Apple (StoreKit): To process payments and manage App Store transactions.
- RevenueCat: To securely track and manage your virtual currency (
AUR) balance. - AI Providers: Your text prompts are processed by third-party AI models. These providers receive the prompt only; they do not receive your personal identity or device identifiers.
5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Users in the EU and other regulated regions have the right to:
- Access: View your current Aura balance and anonymous profile data.
- Erasure: Request the deletion of your anonymous App User ID.
- Opt-out: You may limit analytics tracking through your iOS system settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).
